The diary of anne frank
After Auschwitz was liberated by Soviet troops Anne Franks father, Otto Frank (who was being held there) went back to the "Secret Annex" to look for anyone that wasn't taken by the German troops. While he was there he found a collection of notes that now makes up Anne Franks diary. There was some controversy about if her diary should be published and mass-produced, Otto wasn't sure if he wanted to set this valuable piece free to the rest of the world. Anne's diary is what makes her famous today. Her diary teaches people now what it was like to live in the conditions of hiding during the holocaust. It also displays the interesting thoughts, dreams, and imagination of a young girl.
