the life of anne frank.
Annelies Marie "Anne" Frank was born in Frankfurt, Germany on June 12th, 1929. In 1933 the Franks moved from Germany to Amsterdam, this was the year that the Nazis took over Germany. But shortly after the Nazis occupied The Netherlands too. On July 5th of 1942 Anne's sister, Margot Frank, got a notice for deportation to be forced to work in a labor camp, the next day the Franks went into hiding in the "Secret Annex", a small building that joined a larger building.
On Anne Franks 13th birthday she received a diary, in that diary she kept a log of her days from Sunday, 14 June, 1942 to Tuesday, 1 August, 1944 (3 days before the German police stormed the annex). In the annex , different people lived with the franks one of them was a boy that was Anne's age named Peter. Anne was in love with peter and she got a "kiss" from him. He was the only boy that Anne could socialize with. In her diary she sometimes is mean and dark but she can be cheerful and happy. She also explains herself to be very confident and determined to do more that her mom did. It is obvious that all the people living with her in the secret annex are hard to live with (for 2 years) but in her heart she is a strong young woman that wants people to understand that she wants to succeed.
